This Isn't A Love Story This Is A Story About Love

Welcome to my outreach and prayer blog :)

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel. Ephesians 6:18-19

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 1 John 3:16

I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. Ecclesiastes 3:12

If love was a storybook. We would meet on the very first page.

To all my brothers and sisters in Christ. To me you are like my family and many of you have been so kind with your messages and your posts show me how dedicated you all are to serving God. I get new followers each day and I always try to be consistent in quality posts every day. I pray for all of you each night and it definitely has been a blessing being able to serve you all and talk to many of you. If you were all here I would give each one of you a hug. Hope this brightens up your day :)

God loves you so much......
That every morning when you wake up God would leave you not only a text with encouraging passages from His Word and messages, but also call you so you could hear His voice saying “You are special to me, I will always love you first and you are perfect just the way you are”. Then visit you every morning just so you can run into His open arms and God will say, “I will be with you…….Always and Forever”. And God would do this every morning for us because that is how much He loves us.

"God doesn't have a Blackberry or iPhone, but He is my Favorite Contact. He doesn't have Facebook, but He is my Best Friend. He doesn't have Tumblr, but I follow Him. He doesn't have Internet, but I am connected to Him 24/7."

Let us all tear down the walls that keep God out of the picture so we can live lives dedicated to His will for us. By doing so it will allow us to not focus on things like beauty, fame, possessions, money, and the things that the world views as “good” but allow us to say “yes” to God when it comes to devoting our lives to serving others, missions, and living everyday by God’s Word. As God’s children we are called to be transformed by the spirit and see that there is more to this life than the things we see around us. Things in this life are only temporary, but a relationship with God will last forever. If there is someone you don’t know that needs prayer or needs God in their lives, do not be afraid to reach out to them, but remove all the barriers keeping you from doing so and remember to put others before yourself and God first and foremost.

God would like nothing more...
than for you to run to Him and say, “I can never thank you enough for all you have done for me and all the things that give myself and so many Christians hope. It is because of what You have done for me that I will devote my whole life to putting You first, glorifying, and seeking You out with all my heart. I may not be perfect and I do stumble, but I will always do my best to please You and NEVER stop loving and putting my trust in You. Lastly, I will be a light and encouragement for others and ALWAYS keep You and my brothers and sisters in Christ in my prayers and my heart.

As a Christian, what do you think makes a woman beautiful? - Anonymous

When I think of beauty, I think of the cross. What I find attractive in a woman is a love and passion for Jesus. The world has given us the perception that we must look a certain way to be viewed as beautiful, but we are all beautiful in God’s eyes. Each one of us is God’s creation and uniquely made for His purpose. We are constantly being molded both inwardly and outwardly to fit His divine will. It doesn’t matter what you look like, what you wear, or how much money you have, we are all worthy of Christ dying on the cross for us. We are imperfect and undeserving, yet loved by a King. Jesus paid the ultimate price for us. That is what was so beautiful and majestic about the cross. Because when God looks at us now, He see His Son. This is how we should look at others, with the love and compassion of Christ. 1 Peter 3:3-4 says, Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For me, beauty comes from the heart and a heart that is being led by the Spirit is truly something to be valued. What could be more beautiful than a sister who is serving the Lord, diving into the Word, remaining faithful in prayer, and has an authentic relationship with the Father. When you are so in love with God, looks become so insignificant compared to the glory of Christ.

What would you do if you learned that you were another person’s object of lust? For a background, i know this person because we came from the same school, but he’s not actually a friend like a very close friend. I know for sure that the way I dress protects me to be an object of lust — I’m a Christian by the way (and i’m really cautious with what I wear). So, I would just want to know, if you have there any advice, on how I will be able to respond to this kind of situation? Thanks. God bless. -Anonymous

As Christians yes we should dress in a way that God would approve of not only because God does not look at our outer appearance, but at our hearts(1 Samuel 16:7), but also because the way we dress and look can also cause others to stumble. 1 Timothy 2 and 1 Peter 3 both talk about dressing yourself with good deeds rather than clothes/jewelry. You do not want to be the cause of the sinning and stumbling of others so the best thing to do is rebuke them out of love and just simply tell them that friends do not have these kinds of feelings for each other. If they do want to have a relationship with you then they have to chase after God and win over your heart. As Christians we deserve the very best in a relationship and if someone only cares about you only for your looks then He/She isn’t the man or woman of God you need in your life. Friendships same thing we should be building each other up not bringing others down and you should help you friend to understand that. Love on your friends, but don’t be afraid to be firm with them when you have to especially when it comes to these type of things. The bible is your sword and use it to guide you and to assist in the direction of others. There are many passages in the bible that can help you for example read Matthew 5:27-30.
